If we would have gone for walker i couldnt see him making more of an impact than price, so its got to be price for me. How old is Walker by the way, Hes getting on a bit now isnt he?
Walker is the same age as Sean O'Loughlin, Rob Burrow and Danny Mc Guire. They were all in the same U16s England Schoolboy team Karl is younger I think

Could Pryce not be pushed up into the second row - he has the build of a forward - Prescott, O'Carroll, Hansen take note - this is how you should be built if you want to play in the pack

Walker for me..Pryce never impressed me at Bradfoed. Hopefully he will have trained on and improved, otherwise he will be a fringe player.

Well his try scoring ratio certainly impressed me!! Time will tell but for me Pryce looks to be the better deal when the costs are considered. IMO he could go on to play for England/GB for the next 10 years a la Keith Senior.

Surely the main thing about Pryce is that we've got him for a fantastic bargain. We must have done, because we had very little space left under the cap regardless of the extra £20 grand or whatever it was that unloading Danny Hill gave us.

When IL told us we only had £140K left to spend, I expected us to make one signing at the most - if Pryce had been in the frame then, I'd have looked no further than him. But to get him, Carmont and Mathers has blown me away. None of these guys are superstars, but they're not stone jugs either. Carmont is a tried and tested pro, while Mathers and and Pryce are both very young and have huge potential.
