From the Eels website..
Mark Riddell reinvented himself during the 2008 off-season, trimming eight kilograms off his considerable frame to reach a double-digit weight for the first time in years. Spurred on by his desire to become more of an eighty minute player following the departure of PJ Marsh and changes to the interchange laws, Riddell has gone some way to losing the “Piggy†nickname he’s carried throughout a career spanning well over 150 first grade games. Renowned for providing the Parramatta attack with some vital spark Riddell has been a popular figure at Parramatta Stadium since joining the Eels from St. George Illawarra in 2005. Something of an anti-hero when it comes to conditioning work during his time in the NRL Riddell has embraced a healthy lifestyle in recent months and is reaping the benefits.

Why would you not want one of the top NRL hookers in your team?
Everything they do is so dramatic and flamboyant. It just makes me want to set myself on fire!
