Fielden was MOM for me. He took the ball up tirelessly - usually into 3 or 4 tacklers. He looked like it mattered. Defensively he was one of our best; he made countless tackles and made most of them stick - unlike other players on the field.

Interesting that you thought that Mathers had a good game though. It wasn't his worst in a Wigan shirt - but that's about all I can say for it

barrett was MOM for me rallied the team eventually
after getting a player sent off in the first 5/6 minutes, i don't think the players expected to win

beat the teams around you and then try to beat the top teams.

wigan fans seem to want instant results, look at the league table, we've not been this high for a good few years and people are asking for the nobles resignation letter.

we had players missing that are to valuable to us i.e O'loughlin, Richards, Bailey, and Mcclourm (13 men on the field does go along way to winning a game)

bring on huddersfield.

Unfortunately mediocrity is rife in Super League. Our position in the league only highlights the fact that standards have dropped massively.

hull have had half their team missing this year and wakey have not been much better. We have lost 3 of our last six games but we did manage to get a draw with the bottom team that everybody else hammers. It's not good enough

Fielden's performance last night was one of the only positives about it - he worked hard and showed some heart, and it isnt easy being the only real prop when feka is having one of his 20 minute games and coley was, for me, looking out of sorts.

If you're wondering how well big Stu played i'm sure James Graham would put you right seen as he ended up on the receiving end of decent hits all game from him. As for comments on him running sideways at times - sideways into 3 tacklers as opposed to straight forward and going down one on one is a lot harder ; at least he was looking for the gaps.

Mossop has to be given more time on the pitch - introducing a tough forward when the forward battle is pretty much over after 60+ minutes is tactically inept.

i still can't believe that fans are calling wigan 'not a good side' because we lost a game with a player sent off against the top team in the division. We had one less player and we looked pretty decent for it tbh. okay, we didn't win but we didn't expect to, get over it and bring on huddersfield.

Coley was class again btw what a season that lads having!
