josie andrews wrote:Someone put on a previous post about Forshaw, he is not doing anything to get the players fit he is one who should definately go he is only interested in workouts in the gym. We have had teams play for a full 80 mins without any subs before, (eg Wigan v Manly, Byrne only came on in the last five mins) and they trained without all the so called up to date training facilities, they need to get running and swimming they are building up far too much muscle and it is doing nothing only to hinder the stamina of which they have none whatsoever.

Get in Steve Hampson and Quentin Pongia for fitness and Kris Radlinski for instilling pride, loyalty and what it means to play for Wigan.

Sorry about going on.
Spot on josie & no im not Turf in discuise  Very well put was thinking along the same lines myself is Pongia & Radders

Lockers even manages to get blamed when he hasn't played, no womder he can't do right when he's on the pitch!
Maybe the meeting was for the team that played on Friday night. Probably asking for this weeks wages back.

i agree, wigans fitness levels are poor at best.I run a wrestling club and some of my lads are a lot fitter. We constantly do circuit and core training to condition the body, maybe they are weight training to much which slows them down.Their stamina is shocking

Does Noble work for the BBC or Wigan?

Cant believe he's got the nerve do both semis after he failed to get us there. It's depressing enough watching without having to listen to his so called "expert opinions"

If you actually listened to what he had to say there are some excellent tips for our team:-
Support the man with the ball
use the dummy runner to draw in the defence and then put the ball wide to the pace men
straight solid play to settle the side
close out the game behind a winning score
use interchanges to suit the play and conditions
bring the right men on at the right time to maximum effect
take the points on offer to bring the points difference to one score
Perhaps this is the other BN who works for the BBC because he is certainly is not working for us.

Lydon was on the radio!! Perhaps they even shared the transport.
Maybe it is Lydon the team are protesting about??

Whoever it is I.L. get rid of them all now or you will lose a lot of season tiocket sales next year.
