Food for thought...
A National Conference player was dismissed last season down at St. Judes for pulling the referee's shoulder to turn him round to get his attention. He was banned sine die.
I also know of an incident in a NW Counties U15s game last season where a player grabbed the referees arm out of frustration (he's been punched in the tackle but ref was unsighted, missed it and penalised him for pushing) - sine die was considered here, fortunately common sense prevailed though.

maybe that attitude is part of the problems with the club.I know players have to have a social life but that attitude cannot be condoned nor does it help gel a team together, He should be apologising to his team mates and the fans as once again he has let everybody down and I am not one who would normally critise Hock as I do think he tries, maybe too hard sometimes!but his will to win has to be tempered with common sense.

I do wonder why his frustration appears to be getting the better of him.
For the club to finish two consecutive games with 12 players does show a complete lack of discipline overall at the club (irrespective of who you blame for he dismissals).
If this is mirrored in other facets of the club (training, diets etc), then this malaise needs to be removed immediately, and a new club "code of conduct" placed upon the players and must be adhered to by every player, with severe (even sacking) consequences for a failure to comply.

He should be banned for the rest of the season. No excuse whatever for even arguing with a referee never mind pushing him.I think Hock needs to grow up and take a responsible attitude, hes a good rugby player but is letting himself, his team mates and the club down.

I don't agree with what he did but I saw the incident on Saturday morning on Sky Sports News and he tug's the refs shirt...... however I then picked up a couple of newspapers who quoted "Gareth Hock was shown a red card for appearing to 'manhandle' the referee."
SLIGHTLY DRAMATIC!!
I think the RFL will make an example of him, which isn't good because at time he's the only person who looks like he is arsed!!

We will do better without him. He has become a liability and drops it almost everytime he gets it. He is also a liability if a team break our line as he just jogs back so slow.
I remember seing barret shouting at him to get back.
