Soz, but i just dont like Luke, and before you say anything, no i wanst one of those fans claiming he was the next big thing last year. I can see potential in him, i just dont think he will every reach it. Just my opinion tho, so need to have a go at me
If you can see his potential how can you say he will never reach it? I'm confused. Surely if he has it in him then it is up to Wigan to get the best out of him by giving the lad the chance!?

Agree, from what i've seen would sooner have Faz at No6 than Orr. Providing we have no forward injuries.

I think that Luke will be a awesome player. He is only a kid. He did mess up a few time last season. he was under to pressure. I think that he should play. But also i wont Orr to play. He is a good player aswell. But if i could chose. I would kind of put Orr on. He has more exprence. Or could change them around at half time. Give them both a chance.

When did Luke muck up last season? He was quite quiet against Leeds in the GF eliminator and no-one was outstanding in the GF.

Lets face it though, what has Orr done this season? One or two tackles and faded into the background? Has he done anything that we bought him for? Based on form you wouldn't play Orr because he hasn't played well yet and you wouldn't play Robinson because he's not had first team action for ages. There is always O'Loughlin, Brown or even Faz at no.6 but we keep persisting with Orr. Maybe it is right to go with experience for the Final and hope he plays well but if he doesn't perform I think we need to start dropping him.

yeah but luke has final experiance behind him, dont think that orr has ever been in a final with castleford could be wrong but that is 1 advantage luke has over orr.

Well, when he was drop kicking it. He kept on giving it straight to the other team, alot. His passs, sometimes wasnt up to his best. It was last or this season. When he kicked the conversion. Sorry but he was way off. I could of done better than that.

Danny Orr has set up a few tries. HE dose good drop kicks. I no some times he gives it straight the the other team. His conversion was good, when farrel was out. I no that he hasnt bin playing as good as he can do. But over all, he is better than luke. Coz of experience.

Drop kicking? What do you mean, you talking about last tackle kick?

Not personally seen danny orr kicking well either, or setting up tries. Thats been mostly done by our forwards!

I don't know what Lukes done to upset anyone, he had a bad game at the beginning of the season but we're not a one man team. Bring him back I say, at least it'll be a bit of competition for first team then, theres even more reason for Orr and Robby to stand out. He's young and full of talent. You'd all be regretting it if he left and scored the winning try for someone like bradford/saints/leeds against us.

By the way, do you all remember him against scousers last year at knowsley shed? He brought our confidence back up last year with his attitude. We would not have won that match without him.

For a start, what you on about drop kicks for? I think Luke might have tried one last season against Leeds, but my memory is a bit rusty, and Danny Orr hasn't tried any yet. Unless my memory fails me.

Last season Luke was brilliant, he single handedly turned around the game against Warrington in the play-offs when Lam was having a bad day and gave them two tries. He won that game for us! As for doing better yourself? I think you're in dream land mate else you'd be in the cherry and white.

Orrs kicking game has been fair to poor all season, against Cas every kick went straight to Darren Rogers, the only good kicking we've had really this season is from Faz, Radders hasn't been too bad either. Tickle hasn't even been kicking that well.

Where have Orrs sweet passes, nice runs and clever kicks been? We've seen one or two breaks, a good tackle against Warringon in the semi and nowt else.

I'm not saying Luke should be in the team, I don't think he's had enough of a run-out since his off-game at Bradford but I really don't think Orr is doing his job as well as he could. We can't continue to put his name first on the team sheet if he is consistently underperforming, we need players to compete for places to make them play better, similar to what Smith is doing at Leeds.

Luke does have the potential, but the reason i dont he will ever reach that, epecially at Wigan, is he lacks confidence. Once one thing goes wrong his head goes down and so does his game. Cant believe your saying put robinson in and take orr out, are you all mad!!!!

True Orr hasnt exactly lit up superleague yet, BUT he came to Wiagn and he was the player everyone was looking to, when that shouldnt happen. Now farrell and lam and cassidy are all back, the other guys have them to lookk to and so Orr is left to work on his game, which has improved a hell of a lot since those players returned.
2004 YEAR OF THE WARRIORS (hopefully)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
