Taken the criteria that gave man of plastic the title Carmont should be in the mix. Pryce is fairy footspeps. Too much steel in Peacocks back to be considered. Ginger, good prop but just that. KFC getting a bit old. Man of steel was bottle, bold and team hero. When plastic beat Barrett the title lost its meaning,

If you look closely, Roby's stats this season are roughly as impressive as last seasons. Probably the reason that he isn't being "praised from the roof-tops" is because, what he did last year was not worthy of the ridiculous adulation that he received for his 20-30 minutes stints of action per game.

His nomination and subsequent win, devalued, what was once, one of the highest individual player honours at the end of the British season.

I mean, no one was claiming the likes of impact players Feka or Maurie for the award, yet their performances for the team (and subsequent impact on matches), merit far higher than the likes of Sinfield, Cunningham, Morley et all who have been considered by fans as possibilities for this years nomination. Yet the actual game-time for both, must only merit them as "bit-part-players" in comparison with more seasoned and regular starting players.

Hopefully Leon Pryce will get it.

Really enjoy watching his rugby and he can just turn on the quality when he needs to.

I cannot believe they only had a 5 man panel last year and Eddie and Stevo were both on it. David Hadfield was another. Dave Woods. I forget the other.

Are the the same people who picked the nominees for this year?

i would vote for leon pryce he is amazing player to watch, if i could pick any current saints player it would be him, and if we get to the final he wil need to be sniffed out, he is an unbelievably talented player with a lot of big game experiance...

peacock will run him close though im sure...

As yet nobody knows and it makes a farce of the idea that the players have a free vote when they are suddenly presented with nominees. I think Jamie Peacock has the best idea, let the SL coaches vote for the MOS.
