I think Danny Orr had one of his better games for us against Wakefield. That little step he did for Browns try was brilliant.
Maybe one of his better ones, but wasn't good was it!?

Farrell made that try, he ran 20 metres with three Wakefield players hanging from him, made a pass to Danny who made another pass to Brown, it was good play but hardly a flash of magic!

Perhaps I am being harsh there, it was a good try and this is the kind of thing we want to see more often but we just don't. There is no excuse for almost failing to kick a penatly into touch or kicking into the fullbacks arms on the last tackle each time. The latter is something Lam, Radders and Orr all did yesterday.

now we have Connolly at centre we can afford to play Brownie at stand off!
Always speak too soon!
I've said before am upset that browns injured but it leaves space for aspi who now has no competition really when he's fit. Do you think Betts has realised somethings up with Orr and will possibly swap him for o'loughlin on friday?

Anyway Sunday, I thought Mark Smiths try saving tackle was brilliant!!! He knocked him flying just as he was about to go over :D Well in lad.

Farrell did have a good game, he seemed to be charging through their defence at times like he should be and he was having a proper go at the team for letting a wakefield try in which was good to see (not the try)

Ref and touch judge as usual were useless, they were always in contact yes but that was because none of them had a clue what decision to give. There was also a kick off towards the beginning where it looked like the ball had gone out on the full, well it looked like it had touched the line which is out as we're regularly told by stevo and it wasn't given.
They tested us on that side quite a lot yesterday, Hodgson still hasnt learned how to jump for the ball, he seems to think it will just drop in his arms.

We won and that was all that mattered really but we didn't look too inspiring to be honest! Lets hope for better stuff this Friday, i might turn up in my leavers do dress and heels depending on the score at half time. Its a nice cherry red so ill fit in fine :D
