Can we save a bit off time here. Can this thread be merged with the one when Coley was coming. Then some folks can delete coley insert moore He came as a reject. For a reject he has done not too bad. Moore is a useful prop. Wigan cannot field 17 world class players. There is not enough money in the kitty. The team has to be a ballance between good players and the elite. Moore also has a long onfield time if I remember correctly.

Unless we can swap coley for him i don't see the point of adding another 'decent' prop to our squad. Why bring in someone to stop o'carrol & Prescott playing if he is no better than our existing front rowers.
Why do we still keep getting linked with such players anyway?! We have 5 props in our first team squad and, what?, 1 winger who has appeared in the first team? Lets please get linked with some wingers, that is our only essential requirement.

any thoughts that this could be a smoke screen?
if we had the money available to offer Wiki a contract along with Leeds, then we have the money to spend on another prop....
surely we should judge IL and his wallet on his signings....? we haven't signed this guy!

OR in trouble with the law
I worry. We can only have 1 more overseas player and when you look at the World Cup Squads not many are unattached.
Even NL Clubs are finalising / have finalised their squads for 2009.
My slight hope is that they screw up recruitment so badly that youngsters have to be given opportunities.

Who? Mark Calderwood?

We can only sign one more overseas player so if he is bringing more than one winger back one of them will have to be English or rather English federation-trained.
