Hi everyone, newbie here.

My name is Debbie and I am the secretary of the Riversiders, the Official Supporters Club for Wigan RL.
Welcome to our little family Debbie :D

Out of interest what to the Riversiders do?
Hi Debbie, you've decided to explore the world beyond Bilko's website then?! I gave up trying to follow the RLFans site due to the volume of messages, I'd never get any work done. Good to see you anyway, there's a small number of us on here you know, and Father Ted used to post on here but hasn't done for a long time.

To answer Rob's question (I've banged on about the Riversiders for a few years now on this site in both its current and previous guises, but for those who haven't been on here very long...), the Riversiders is the official supporters club for Wigan RL. They organise monthly meetings at the JJB Stadium with question and answer sessions with players and club officials, events such as the recent race night for Terry O'Connor's testimonial (raising £1000 that night), cheap transport to matches and priority on getting good tickets for big matches. There's also a player of the year award and they sponsor the Man of the Match for one of the junior teams, can't remember if it's U21's or U18's. Homepage is http://www.riversiders.co.uk/, the next meeting should be Tuesday 1st June in the John Smiths South Stand bar (first Tuesday of each month, Latics matches permitting). It's usually pretty interesting, and there's always the chance to win some goodies so bring a couple of quid extra with you!

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome, and thanks to Fraggle for the Riversiders mention.

HIYA LINZI MY HUNNY BUN XXXX

Yes, the Riversiders do all the things Fraggle put in his post and more besides, we actually sponosor BOTH the U21's and the U18's for 'Player's Player' of both home and away matches. These lads get paid peanuts and they do us proud week after week, so the Riversiders are happy to contribute in a small way to them.

As for the website, unfortunately, it's not very up to date at the moment, but I am working on it  Those of you who know me, know I have recently had a baby and I also have 3 other children, so have been a bit tied up. (Don't worry, we've worked out what's been causing it and I've put a stop to it now !! )

I must say, I agree with you Fraggle about the RLFans site, I do have a browse most days, but tend not to post.

So once again, thanks for all the messages and I hope to be a frequewnt visitor to the site.
