I believe Tim is only 23.I dont believe he started many matches and those I saw him in he looked the business.Good hands,he martials the team well. And more importantly IMO,he has a good rugby brain.I strongly suggest he is given the no 6 this season.BTW his kicking game was far more effective than Tommys IMO

Re: Homesick Smith keen to head home
he'll be back

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Spoke to Mark Riddell tonight.
Timmy will fly back hopefully this Friday with Mark and Karli. They are all planning on travelling together
Mark should have flown today but Karli's visa has not arrived and wont arrive until Tuesday.
Mark says Timmy will definately be at wigan on 2009.

If he is brought in any slower he will be retired before he gets another game.THE 18th Man wrote:we cant play sam tompkins every week at the current pace of super league, he needs to be brought in slowly and right time to start so he can evolve to a better player

haha you maybe right while brian noble is coach
but he is still young and inexperienced and playing him in every game would be a bad move
