Re: Drop Ainscough at your peril Noble!
i like the way nobby is keeping ainscoughs feet on the ground to be honest, it means ainscough will strive for the improvements, lets face it the lad is 19 in his first super league season. Ive seen signs of improvement of ainy under the high ball, that bomb he took in the second half was fantastic- and then he made about 50 yards.
for every mistake shaun makes, he goes and scores about two tries.
if noble drops him- he is putting his head on the line! its impossible to drop shaun, isn't it?

Nothing's impossible for Nobby! He looks for any excuse to drop any of the youngsters, while ignoring the more obvious faults of some of the senior players. Similarly, Tomkins is much more effective when playing the full 80, he took a little while today to get into the game when he came on, but looked outstanding, yet again, once into it.warrior till i die wrote:i like the way nobby is keeping ainscoughs feet on the ground to be honest, it means ainscough will strive for the improvements, lets face it the lad is 19 in his first super league season. I'd say he has a duty of care to Fielden (for example) to rest him for a while; yet again he did nothing today.

I think noble should come out and say why dropping shaun Ainscough, I for one want to see the lad play when he can, I hope Shaun reads the comments on here as he deserves all the praise he is getting and not just the rubbish noble keeps coming out with
Re: Drop Ainscough at your peril Noble!
That is my point, he will learn every training session he participates in, and every game in plays in. Whether he does right, or wrong, he will still learn, and especially if he does wrong because it is called learning from your mistakes which young Shaun will have to do.warrior till i die wrote:i like the way nobby is keeping ainscoughs feet on the ground to be honest, it means ainscough will strive for the improvements, lets face it the lad is 19 in his first super league season. I think I said it on another Ainscough thread a couple of weeks, ago, he will learn because he is enthusiastic, very keen, and he looks a good listener, as if he actually wants to improve and wants to fix where he goes wrong.
He has to keep his feet on the ground though and not get too carried away, but I am sure his family will make sure that his feet remain firmly on the ground.
Re: Drop Ainscough at your peril Noble!
I hope Shaun reads these boards because it would do him a world of good to read us guys and girls on here praising him but probably he won't be as Noble would be saying something like, "don't read them message boards and get too carried away".cumbria_warrior wrote:I think noble should come out and say why dropping shaun Ainscough, I for one want to see the lad play when he can, I hope Shaun reads the comments on here as he deserves all the praise he is getting and not just the rubbish noble keeps coming out with
Shaun if you are reading these boards tonight, every single one of the Wigan fans on here and who aren't on here are extremely proud of you.
Well done son. Keep it up. :eusa2: :eusa2: :eusa2:

Re: Drop Ainscough at your peril Noble!
Noble must surely see Ainscough is our top try scorer and hungry for work when on the pitch. Unlike some other players whom look like they can't be bothered.
He must play the lad as much as possible, without jepodising his fitness of course.
It's clear he wants to play and is on his way to be a great player, he best not drop him nor let him go off on loan anywhere.
I am rapidly losing patience with mr noble about losing our young players . I really hope he's not offered a new contract at the end of season.
