I agree about Forshaw. A mate of mine who is a wire fan pissed himself laughing when he heard we had signed him as fitness coach.

There's a better young fitness conditioner at Barrow Raiders, an ex Great Britain Athlete, who has turned Barrow's fortunes around from NHL2 also rans, to NHL1 leaders.adiddy wrote:Ive never been a told you so, but I told everyone when Forshaw was first signed as fitness and conditioner we were in trouble! I have many Wire friends a few with good contacts in the club, and they all said the greatest move they ever did was to get rid of Forshaw, and straight away the players were feeling better and stronger!!

I admire your optmism in suggesting we have any chance at silverware. And I would dearly love it for you to be right!Panchitta Marra wrote: Surely Lenehan knows all this, however, still choses to continue with Noble & Co in one of our best chances for silverware in many a year.
Thanks CW, you are spot, he did go to Millom.cumbria_warrior wrote:Paul Taylor quit Barrow Raiders last year when Paulm Crarey left. He spent last year coaching a amateur team called Millom, from whom he has now packed up. But as you say a very good fitness coach but has a decent job so would not want to pack that up
I never knew that.cumbria_warrior wrote:Yes millom did ok in there league under paul Taylor, found it hard going with a young team but kept out of relegation, Millom ARLFC is actually the oldest amateur rugby league club in the world and played against wigan many years ago
