Brian Noble is the most successful coach in superleague and with that in mind the optimist in me says he can make wigan great again. No one can seriously believe he is solely responsible for how bad we have been. The stains team took years to make and when they found the right balance they were virtualy unstoppable.I get as frustrated as anybody on here but i feel we have changed coaches to readily in the past and i dont think that helps any team.

The only thing I would say is off field matters could not have helped Brian Noble to be focussed 100% at the end of last season and pre season.

If Wigan do not offer him a new contract he will get a new job quite easily. Hull would be my bet.

His loyalty to and need for yes men around him is one of the biggest weaknesses of Brian Noble.

i would like to ideally bring in Justin Morgan but i doubt there is any chance of that happening so Shaun Wane or Adrian Lam.

the last two Wigan Coaches haven't done us any favours so maybe we should go against the law of averages and get someone who's not the best Super League coach at the minute.

I would like to read something good about him and that those knockers of him take off their rose tinted spectacles (and in many instances full leather BLINKERS) and actuially realise that this guy is the man for Wigan.
We would be mad to not offer him a new contract.
Sign him up and do it now.......

Keep up the good work Brian and please take no notice of these self righteous buffoons.
I am sure the irony of your last statement passed you right by.

I think it was Jack Gibson that came up with 3 years and he knew more than most if not all. I think you can stay longer but it tends to go wrong. I think Wayne Bennett shows that no matter how good a coach you are he has IMO been a better coach in 2009 for moving to a new club than he would have been had he stayed at the Broncos. He was at the birth of the Broncos so that perhaps is an excuse to stay longer. What Bennett and Fergusson both did was they had a turnover of assistants. So Fergie injected a fresh input to the club by bringing in new assistants with fresh / different ideas.

On that basis if you were to keep Brian Noble you would have to say how can we improve upon 2009? Clearly the start of seasons is a big issue, clearly the fitness of certain players is an issue. Change the conditioner? Is it easier to find a world class conditioner than a world class coach? Which is less expensive? I have an inkling Dave Lyon has made a difference but if you only appoint your friends then you are surely limited what you can achieve and when you can achieve it?

Daniel Anderson - 3 years. Brian McLennan I think Leeds will grow tired if he stays longer than 3 years. Bradford had success sticking to 3 year spells but Brian Noble / The Bradford board broke that and they are now in a mess.

I don't think RL in Britain is helped by the old boys network that sees the media and all facets of the sport scratching each others backs.

I dont post on here often but I do read the site most days and to be honest i am tired of all the Noble knockers on this site.cpwigan- I'm sorry I did not catch which champion super league side you coached. If we all believed what you and the other negative so called supporters post on here then God help the club. The fact is Noble is a good coach I bet you wish you were as succussful in your job....
Yes not everything at the club is rosie but Noble is not to blame take the blinkers off and have a good look around. For once let the glass be half full instead of half empty and to be honest a lot of what you put is not fact FACT !
