what with Gleeson going to Warrington and De Vere going to the Giants and both being linked with us over the last few days and weeks I just get this little feeling that Uncle Mo hasn't lost all hope of signing Gasnier. Maybe its just me.

Dancer - if you put him inside Dallas or Carnet and they would love it
Not necessarily. Just because he looks good at saints doesn't mean he'll automatically be good anywhere. I personally don't rate him anyway but like someone has already mentioned the team spirit is the main factor here. Our lads have been working together without much change for the last year an a bit and they know each others style and reliability for back up. I wouldn't want to see that changed for any saints reject.

Come on Mrs Lam, get to the speed of the game, Kevin Brown is a natural potentially world class Stand off, he can be a centre but that is a dreadful waste of his talent, I'll repeat myself a thousand times stand off ,stand off.
More worryingly he seems to be stuck a week away from being fit enough to get back in the team and he has been there now for 3 weeks, I am hoping that one day Mrs Carney has something to cheer again but at the moment her Brian is also nowhere near match fit yet. Controversy. Controversy

Totally agree about Brown. Stand off to get his full potential.

Agree to a certain extent about Carney, he's definately not back to full fitness yet. I thought against Salford he had quite a poor game, he was often caught out of position, he went to make tackles he didn't need to and they had a massive overlap on that side. Last night though, and against Bradford he was making decent runs and breaking back out of tackles to have another run, but again, especially against Bulls, he was caught out of position and let Vainakolo through.

Apologies Ian! but I was just saying that like Wild, he is capable of playing in that position. I agree with you anyway, and in most situations wouldn't play him at center but my point was that he could if we needed him to and he wouldn't feel too out of position.

He's got pace but sometimes it looks like he uses it all to run to the nearest pie shop.
I happen to know that Gleeson has just moved in next door to a pie shop... so he won't have to run as far. This could mean that Warrington could benefit him having to run more on the pitch to keep his weight down! :) [/quote]
