Paul Deacon
Re: Paul Deacon
Rumours on 606 and on a few other places suggesting Deacon is taking a coaching role at Wigan but will also provide cover for the half-backs.

Gareth Thomas before his first game: "You wanna spend 10 mins getting smashed up by these guys..Big dudes here.."
Re: Paul Deacon
Joe Mellor. A very promising player but I am unsure he and Sma T can form a halfback partnership. Both are natural leftys.

Re: Paul Deacon
Deacon would be a good signing imo,he could certainly pass on a lot of experience/knowledge to Sam and dont forget when he plays,Paul Deacon has as good a kicking game as anyone in SL.

Re: Paul Deacon
A backwards move IMO.
Was too slow seasons ago.
Joe Mellor as back up would be my choice, barring any DECENT half back signings.

CP, you tend to be on the bob, so I'll assume your correct.
If he's a bargain cover fair play - but I'd rather have a top notch prop.

Hard to work out why. Maybe Maguire want to play Tommy at hooker. Surely it cannot be just to have him as a junior coach. Good source said he had signed Rich so I would go with it.weststand-rich wrote:CP, you tend to be on the bob, so I'll assume your correct.
