Morley should not of even been on the pitch, not a good player just a thug, tackle was ok but the following through with shoulder to face is unacceptable. Warrington are a very dirty team this year

They came off second best last night, we looked fit and battle hardened and I bet they wake up this morning a lot sorer than us

At first viewing thought the Elima one was the same as the Morley one but having seen it again the saints winger comes inside and seems to slip so Elima catches his head. Think he may get off with it

Basically when Morley started playing for Leeds he used to do some terrific bell ringers where he took the full impact of the player on his own chest. He learned that the sternum is quite weak and missed several games through injury. This was around the time he took a Wigan player out (Mccormack?) and then Cassidy assaulted him in a very poor challenge. When he went to the NRL he fell guilty of the judiciary because he was swinging his arm. Whilst Down Under he perfected a challenge where he keep the arm stiff but sttraight down by his side and uses it as a clever stiff arm where it looks like he is almost shoulder charging the ball carrier. If you watch the Hansen challenge that is exactly what he did. Look what makes contact with Hansen, the arm of Morley.

The RFL should have done their job last week
Couldn't agree more, cpw!

A stiff, swinging arm with fist clenched can never be legal whichever part of the body it contacts. The Disciplinary Panel is in danger of giving Morley carte blanche to employ it unless some action is taken.

Hansen did superb as I daresay he was seeing stars after that him. H has played well in every game too. The back row has been a real strength.

Please show me where it says in the rulebook that you are allowed to throw your shoulder at a players head.
Anything above the shoulders is a high hit and is illegal.
