I agree re Coley but and I have bagged the guy plenty, this season Fielden is far better than previous seasons.

in this form, id easily give him a new contract, he gets through tons of work in both attack and defence and its his defence which goes unnoticed more than ever.

I concur with most peoples sentiments regarding Stuart.Much better performance all round this season.However,am I lead to believe that we should be offering him a new contract at the end of the season? because I remember quite a few lamenting the fact that he was taking up to much salary cap space.So what is the consensus this time around? or am I being a little early in the season to be asking this question? On current form I would look to offer season by season contract!

He's still getting paid far too much even at half the price I'd be tempted to look elsewhere and see what we can get for the kind of money Stu will be after/what he's on now. Madge should be able to attract the big names and although Coley and Stu are playing well so far i'd love an 80 minute James Graham type freak of nature.

I woudn't touch James "Couldn't push the skin off a rice pudding" Graham
He ALWAYS goes to ground as soon as any player tackles him, never seems to even try to break a tackle.
Alright he gets a quick POTB but sometimes you want a storming run from a prop.
I'd give Fielden a new contract, I don't know who you would like to replace him, unless you are going to go the NRL to get someone. If that happens they won't be top class, because if they are, they want to play for Aus and know that coming to the UK ends that chance.

On a separate note I was also very impressed with O'Meley's work rate on Friday.

So was I he goes in so hard at times. Fitzgibbon does the same usually we did fantastically well at stopping him from playing, he's having a great season so far.

O'Meley certainly put his body on the line without fear. I think Agar has hull playing the wrong style of RL. With that pack they should be quite boring but go hard through the middle.

Must be a totally different James Graham to the one playing for Stains, Exile.
I have never seen the bloke take one backward step in a tackle, even against the Aussies & Kiwi's.
Over the last three seasons he has made more storming runs and yardage than any other forward in SL.
His yardage stands out alone even compared to Jamie Peackock.
Stu Fielden is making massive improvements, but IMO not yet at the level of James Graham.

Maybe I'm looking for the wrong thing, but although I agree he rarely takes a backward step(unless it looks like he might have front up to Feka for a bit of aggro) he always seems to play to "win the floor" as the popular phrase goes.

His carries and meters made is immense Exile.
Every time he plays I watch to see if anyone knocks him backwards in a tackle, and I have not seen it once in any matches I have seen him play in.
I know what you mean about the Feka stand off, but who wouldnt run backward if Feka was in your face.
