I would have to agree with you all on the beautiful day it was and the nice friendly atmosphere of the Wigan end, with almost 3/5 of the fans being wiganers!

(doesnt it just make you feel proud)
I wonder how many of you made your own smoothie on the bike as you came in towards the south stand (we didnt know which gate to come in at so we just went in one to walk round) it was really nice and a great twist to the day.

had a great day on Sunday, we had a corporate package booked because my girlfriends dad knows a few of the bigwigs at Salford. Got to the willows around 12 for a 3 course meal which was lovely, a few beers and a quiz which i was nowhere near clever enough to win

. we then took our seats about 2.45 and i took a look over at the wigan supporters and though i need to be over there so we ditched the touchline seats in favour of standing in the terraces with the Wigan supporters, got some strange looks off people as i stood at the back of the stand singing with my shirts and club tie on!! went back into the restaurant at full time for a couple more pints then home!! all in all a very good day

i went alone and arrived early, found a cheap and secure car park for £3 right near the ground, then sat in the stand with the sun on my face having a pint. i too heard the reaction after the game that we would be nothing without richards, i just left them too it, its their opinion afterall. singing to those 3 scrubbers on the roof overlooking the ground was the highlight of the afternoon, we werent very good were we? but 2pts when u play bad is stuff of champions
