Im not critising Madge as i think he has done a good job so far.

Did not think so for one minute Gilly.Just my own observation.Quite see your point regarding young Tuson and lack of playing time.Just think it is now a mute point.And as previously stated I shall reserve my final assessment of Madge come the end of the season.And roll on the grand final.With hopefully no Stains or Leeds in contention.

I think he did make a mistake but as has been said he's allowed to make them and will probably make more but as long as the things he gets right are in greater number them im ok with it.

My other theory albeit a long shot, Madge just didn't really care about the cup

Can't go along with that one I'm afraid - he is an Aussie and they want to win everything. For me playing KP instead of Goulding was, to say the least, puzzling but that is why he is the coach and I sit on the terraces. He has done a brilliant job so far and personally I still think the weather conditions were responsible for a lot on Saturday, they cannot possibly play the same when passing what amounts to a huge bar of soap as they would on a dry fast track.

regarding selecting Tuson and not playing him - i guess that as Joel went off for the kick to the head and getting more 'rest' than anticipated he probably went back on in place of Tuson - Madge probably thought (and quite rightly) that a freshish Joel would be better than an inexperienced player in a very tight game.

I think again it probably shows that Madge will make changes in respect to what he sees on the pitch rather than the clock.

If madge had picked Feka would he have played him at some point or just left him on the bench for all the game.IMO Madge would have played him so does this mean Madge doesn't rate Feka at all.

No mistake from Madge but several from the players, Coley especially. IMO Feka would have been next to useless in this game, so why include him on the bench?

Pity Noble and co didn't make more of effort to keep Flannagan, he truly is a tackling machine and could have made the difference.

Why include someone (Tuson) with no experience & then not play him?? Feka would have relieved at least little bit of pressure off Coley, Fielden (who was out on his feet) & Prescott.

You cannot play against Leeds or any other SL team with only 3 props!! So yes, IMO, it was an error of judgement on the coaching staff.

So what your saying is that you would rather start with a player down (so 16v17) than pick Feka? If so what a stupid comment to come out with :eusa17: :eusa17:
