Luke Robinson
Re: Luke Robinson
a lot of press speculation today thet nat wood is on the way. if this is right the excuse of salary cap for getting rid of robinson is a pack of lies. wood will be on more than 20,000, so there must be room on the 20/20 list. letting robinson go must be the biggest error mo has ever done.
Re: Luke Robinson
Not sure about that, there have been plenty of "errors" over the years. Wasn't Chairman Mo back when we signed Mark Hilton for 10 minutes? If so, that'll have been his mistake as well.skorpion posted:

Re: Luke Robinson
The reason Robinson didn't come on as well as we hoped he would is because Lam got injured last season. Had Lam stayed uninjured he would be the player we all expected him to be. He didn't get the chance to develop gradually like (for example) Danny McGuire has. Had we kept Luke and played him with Orr at scrum-half we'd have had the finished product next season and Orr would have reverted back to stand-off (had Brown not taken his spot!).MrsLam posted:
Thing is as much as I liked Robinson and I know he's only young, but he's got to learn to cope with pressure and competition for places, it's been said on here before. This is top level rugby league and playing your best in 6 out of 20 matches because they're "easy" isn't good enough.
I hope he does do well wherever he ends up over the years
