Not sure about that, there have been plenty of "errors" over the years. Wasn't Chairman Mo back when we signed Mark Hilton for 10 minutes? If so, that'll have been his mistake as well.

The reason Robinson didn't come on as well as we hoped he would is because Lam got injured last season. Had Lam stayed uninjured he would be the player we all expected him to be. He didn't get the chance to develop gradually like (for example) Danny McGuire has. Had we kept Luke and played him with Orr at scrum-half we'd have had the finished product next season and Orr would have reverted back to stand-off (had Brown not taken his spot!).
