that is exactly what I was trying to say that us being in this position should help us net more fans regularly because no matter what anyone says there are people who will only come to the finals. I do believe there are three types of fans

1)Season ticket holders and regular attenders
2)Floating fans, EG Saints and Warrington and odd game
3)Glory hunters

I stand to be corrected but if we could change some of the fans in each bracket to the bracket above, we would have an even better regular season average attendance which is what this team is worthy of, and I definitely think more is to come.
I always knew that I liked this place, you don't have to look to far to find a friendly face, I feel alive when I'm walking on this street, I feel the heart of this city pounding underneath my feet, yeah if the world keeps spinning round and round this is were it all goes down, down, down, THAT'S WHY I LOVE THIS TOWN!.

your right willie c. if someone had said before the Crusaders game that we would come top of the league, end our Haliwell Jones hoodoo, beat Saints at the LAST EVER derby at KR and beat Leeds to play Saints in the Grand FInal i would have said you've lost your bloody mind

Sorry but you cant say that my wife and I used to come to every home game as season ticket holders all the way from beverley in east yorks ,and we went to quite a few away games But we had to stop as we were going through IVF , luckily it worked but it is very hard to get to home games, after finishing work then picking my daughter up and getting to wigan for kick off just doesn't happen anymore ,and the cost just cant afford it either ,I am going on sat so I must be a glory supporter and if I am tough sh t , I love my team and always will come on WIGAN

I look at it that today's Glory Hunter is tomorrow's S/T holder. How many people have attended 'The Big One' and seen their first ever live game and then decided to come to more matches!!

Let's not get like Latics fans and label people JCLs!!! :D

I support wigan from blackpool and work some friday nights. been to most home games plus warrington and crusaders away. iwish i could have bought tickets from the club today, every time i order tickets they take my name so they must know what games i have attended. however i only usually read posts on this website but today i feel like i want to type loads so i suppose i am a website glory poster!!.

just been out for a meal, me and my dad and father in law properly in trouble. we knew it was to much when i got told by the wife to stop talking about the bloody rugby. come on wigan.
