Along with his size, his potential is massive. I for one think we should persevere for at least another season.
Can't help feeling that someone just needs to find the right button to push and he'd be a world beater. Maybe taking a chance and playing him in the pack against a side like Leeds who would really try to rough him up might be the spark.
Either way I believe he's worth another go.
after 3 years of nothing, the only offer should be bus fare to Bradford,

No.
Never liked Pryce's attitude or effort at Wigan but the final straw for me was against Saints at the DW when he went off with a bit of a limp in stark contrast to Goulding at Headingley who could hardly walk at times but carried on regardless and still kept getting stuck in. Pryce has scored a fair few tries by falling over the line but can honestly say I hardly remember him running the ball in hard, beating a man or making a few tackles. The bloke can't be arsed and is stealing a living, let him steal a living somewhere else.

Saw a glimpse of the potential at Hudds when he went down the wing and gave a peach of a pass to carmont to score. Trouble is not seen anything else but if he is kept on the coaches must think they can bring it out

Karl Pryce has had full season of coaching under Madge and has shown little improvement.
I was truly excited at the prospect of him playing for us, remembering his try scoring rate in his rookie year at Bradford. Considering he was a Wigan supporter as a kid he has shown no passion for the club, or indeed the game generally.
Phelps is a good utility player, Jack of all trades master mof none some may say, but sometimes that is what you need.
He can slot into any of the backline positions and do a reasonable, steady job.

Phelps did very little wrong at the start of this season prior to getting injured. It's been a difficult season for him given the competition for places. I'd keep him as he'd be useful when the injuries inevitably come.
As for Pryce. Well. A bloke sat in front of me one time at the DW said it best. "He's a cardboard tank." let's get rid!

I think a 25 year old offers less than letting one of our young talents get the odd game and develop. Pryce likewise but I fear Pat's injury may benefit him.

Given the opportunity, I reckon Marsh would be a better prospect than Pryce. He would certainly show more commitment. And if they can get Amos back to where he was, Pryce is surplus to resources.

I agree KW but I have a nagging fear IL might pressurise Madge. I cannot forget the statements IL made re Pryce at a fans forum.
