Re: Morley out, Lockers?
so he said no to
Lockers - Grand Final Winning Captain
Ellis- Experienced international in the NRL
Stu - Experienced prop
Joel- part of leadership team
and everybody else.
this is the BIGGEST joke ever, just when i thought he couldn't make anymore bad choices. i said at the start and will say it again we will win nothing under McNamara

Odd choice. I think props not being 80 minute players makes their selection in the role difficult whilst the temper of Graham makes his selection problematic.

So its Graham, based on his England Academy captaincy on a historic victory in Australia, six years ago.
All according to our inspirational international coach.
Gareth Ellis was the clear choice for me, he has captained at open age level before, plus is putting in some great rugby at Wests.

Frankly, I'm sort of glad he didn't get the job. In fact it wouldn't bother me if none of our players made the cut for this weekend.
We are set up to be humiliated and as a Wiganer, I'd prefer that we distance ourselves from it as much as possible.
A few weeks ago, Sam said he would play prop if asked. That comment is now beginning to worry me!

Re: Morley out, Lockers?
I have no confidence in McNamara as England coach
He couldn't inspire a wet tea bag! He is boring & has no personality. He was pathetic as a player & equally as pathetic as the coach of Bradford!
I worry for our boys out there & to make mard arse Graham captain says it all
What a bloody idiot we have coaching the national team & an even bigger tosser as captain
He will more than likely spend the whole tournament in the sin bin :sly:

that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

I think you will find that it is. If a captain screamed at me, the way the the dummy spitting mard @rse did in the GF, I would red card him, just to set an example to the rest of the team!Fernando Player wrote:He's passed over some experienced captains, including the man who captained the Grand Final winners, to give it to Graham? I honestly think he's lost the plot this time...
I suppose the only upside is that, when Graham screams at the ref like he did in the GF, it's not an automatic sin bin...
McNamara is a joke, and the RFL are surely the comedians.

To be fair to Stey Mac, Graham did say that he wouldn't play and wouldn't let them play with his ball if he wasn't made captain.

The mard scouse git.

Im no cynic, but boy does this stink, mardy scouser gets the nod over several other more experienced and better tempered players...
