Re: Joel Monaghan signs for Warrington
Its mentioned in a well worded article in today's Mirror how Hicks, Warrington's Wembley hat trick hero, signed a new one-year contract in July however, he's now “reconsidered retirement plans” to allow Monaghan to move in.
If I were Hicks, I would take their dirty money and then sign a one year deal with another club, even one in NTL.
The whole thing stinks!

Yes. I reckon a few SL clubs would welcome him with open arms!ancientnloyal wrote:Hicks could join crusaders, why not... he doesnt need to move home.

I may stock up with Bonio instead of confetti when we play the dogs ...oops sorry the wolves
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.

that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Which group sang "Who let the dogs out" a few tears back
I always knew that I liked this place, you don't have to look to far to find a friendly face, I feel alive when I'm walking on this street, I feel the heart of this city pounding underneath my feet, yeah if the world keeps spinning round and round this is were it all goes down, down, down, THAT'S WHY I LOVE THIS TOWN!.

Wires sign Monaghan how much more can they spend under the salary cap
It beggars belief that Wires have room under the cap to sign a top class Aussie centre.
They already have King and Atkins at centre with Hicks and Riley on the wings .
Riley has just signed a new contract , I `m not having any of it that they had room under the cap for such a player , but again for me they didn`t have any room under the cap for Atkins .
The RFL need to look closer at Wires , we were above board with the cap and got fined and points deducted .

i think they are doing what Melbourne got done for and that is having a second book they are paying players with. how good would it be if they had their two CC taken off them

Just seen that Hicks has retired , but I `ld have thought he would still command a big salary has Cas wanted to sign him
