I know this a rotten feeling for those wishing to attend todays cancelled game. In my case it is a blessing.I am once again looking after my brother-in-laws pub whilst he luxates in Cancune Mexico. And Sunday being one of the most hectic days of the week. Meant I could not attend the game. And am now able to attend Wednesday's instead. :D

Hope they change the squad, don't want our top players injured for the first real game.

How u mean change the squad? they will need a run out b4 the first game else they will get injured.

If our 'top' players dont get a runout whats the point of playing friendlies ?, warm up games are crucial to a good start.

They have mostly already had a run out at Salford, I think a "friendly" against wire, not exactly a friendly place at the best of times, this close to the start of the competition is a risk, but in Madge I trust.

But the Salford game was 4 weeks away from the opening game and players need some match practice closer to the seasons opener, I understand your point about playing Warrington but there arn't many other SL teams we could have chosen around this area (Saints would be just as tough), so that travelling for Wigan fans is less of a problem than say going to Cas, Wakey, Hudds etc. As you say trust Madge  .
