Sold out, or given away as freebies. If they were sold, they would have been offered for sale to everyone. It stinks!

Sit down meals = Corporate cowboys :doz:
If it's anything like OZ it'll be free booze, sit down meals, then watch the game,(all warm n cozy),on a big screen
Always carry a flagon of whiskey in case of snakebite
and furthermore always carry a small snake

Warm n cozy in Oz? Should that not be cool and air-conditioned? :)

The usual corporate hangers on :(

Such a shame but this is the RFL. What will you SSers do? I don't know if it has a bar etc but Wigan Council could make some nice money opening the Arena, the indoor football place a short walk away has a bar too.

Imagine if we win, those fans that enjoy the post match meet up should have somewhere to join together and celebrate.

I just think it is ridiculous that the usual season ticket holders are being denied this facility which they use throughout the season.

I am sure there are plenty other corporate suites available that could be used by the RFL!!
Do they have so many hangers on that every available corporate facility at the stadium will be overflowing with these so called rugby supporters :(

I just wonder how many freebies are actually given out?

Will it be like the last international at the DW, when England played Australia, with a big centre block in the west stand empty!!!

I wonder what state that nightclub is in opposite the ground? I cannot understand why the owners of such things do not try to cash in on one off events like this if the reguklations allow. Likewise the old gym car park off the roundabout next to the ground.

IL enquired about the old Nexus nightclub to make it loke an Ausie League club but the owners wanted an extortionate amount to sell it. The North Stand bar (marquee) may be open, I can see the Red Robin being packed from about 3 p.m.

Easy enough to check as its a sell out. A quick glance at the West Stand will reveal how many haven't got up off their fat corporate arses to come and watch the game.

Jesus. No bloody wonder the tickets were so expensive. We are subsidising the fat cats!
