I know. Bummer!! I'm worried for the next two games but you never know. I'd take two point from the next two games if it was offered to me.the winky one wrote:Kiwiseddon.. Sam got a one match ban, what a disaster,

How many matches did Radford and Fitzgibbon get?
Incidentally, the start of the Joel Tomkins / Yeomann saga was in the Hull 20 when Yeomann threw 2 soft punches into Tomkins mid riff.

They've sorted that out.JJ wrote:what about Sam's exceptional record?
He now doesn't have one.

Dont be silly. We'll lay back and say that we respect the decision of the RFL.
Meanwhile the R-Soul Agar will appeal in a last ditch attempt to make himself look like he has a clue, and Yeoman will be let off and told not to do it again.
RFL proven that it is acceptable to continuously rumble a young lad in an attempt to end his career early (Sam Tomkins).

We should appeal, but probably won't. We are the only club to accept the rubbish coming out of Red Hall.JJ wrote:Do you think Madge will appeal?Shaun1967 wrote:They've sorted that out.JJ wrote:what about Sam's exceptional record?

look at this nonsense from the RFL disciplinary page
Case Number ON/115/11
Name Andy Coley
Club Wigan
Shirt Number 10
Match Wigan v Hull FC
Competition Engage Super League
Date 13/03/11
Incident considered Dangerous contact in 58th minute (Fitzgibbon)
Decision No charge
Details of Charge / Reason for NF Player grips around ball and chest, not neck, no crusher or unacceptable risk of injury, penalty sufficient
Now I highlighted the bit in bold, if that is true, then surely it should read "Penalty decision incorrect" not "penalty sufficient"?

The Willie Manu one on Sam T amazes me. It wa the type of challenge Richie Mathers used to get in so much trouble for.

Joel And Sam Suspended
Wigan Warriors will be without both Joel and Sam Tomkins for Friday's Engage Super League clash away to Huddersfield Giants following the RFL Disciplinary hearing in Leeds on Tuesday night.
Joel received a two game suspension and £300 fine following his sending off against Hull FC at the DW Stadium on Sunday whilst Brother Sam received a one game ban and a £300 fine. Joel will also miss the home game with Warrington Wolves a week on Friday.
Joel Tomkins was charged with the Grade B offence of recklessly striking an opponent in the 66th minute, an incident which led to his dismissal. Sam Tomkins was charged with the Grade B offence of running in and punching in the 65th minute.

Doesn't look like any appeal is forthcoming!!!

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
