Finch was shite tonight, end of! It was a gamble to throw him into the biggest game of the season and it failed spectacularly!

I'm upset but unconcerned. Having been one of the few who supported Pat in his first season I am not going to write off Bret after one game!

His inclusion threw the whole team out of synch and that is down to Madge. He will put it right!

If Finch had not played then with Joel and Faz out we would have had to have had Sam at 6 (so lockers could be 13) and Amos at 1.

With Joel and Faz out there was no way we could go with Lockers at 6 so for me, ready or not, that set of circumstances got Finch a game because Madge seems wedded to playing Sam at 1.

His passing was way off, communication was poor and is not used to our plays.

He will come good i am sure of that but a stupid idea putting him in against Warrington who are a machine at the minute.
I didnt think his passing was way off to be honest AnL, he put some half decent passes in, but looked unfit as you would expect with no game time and up against the top team in SL.
As you say, he should come good with more games under his belt.
Surely some game time in the 2nd string would have been an option for match fitness.

You must be joking. His passing was diabolical. Slip passes to no one -flat hospital passes-passes to ground. Should not have played until we had weaker opposition.I don't know what he has been doing at the training ground but he was like a square peg in a round hole. Will need to fit in far better than that to justify a place IMO.
