I thought that was the biggest joke on the night!
I do think young Sam needs to pull his neck in a touch though, too easily drawn in. They all know how to wind him up and wouldn't be surprised if there is a dressing room sweepstake before kick off.

i'm inclined to agree.
I had a wander over a couple of team forums on RLFans and saw the same thing "S.Tomkins is a good player, potentially SL's best, but is far too arrogant".
I like Sammy, I really do, but i'm worried that he's wandering down the wrong path. He's coming across as being a big head, now he's coming across as being a bit of a fighter as well. I'm already seeing that his dummy skipping on the field isn't effective anymore, as the opposition props look at him, then both pile into him...
I just feel he needs to re-asses, and come up with a new gameplan...
Still like him though

Sam is a competitor and hates losing nothing wrong with that.

Yes hes still world class just needs reigning in a little before he get seriously hurt. A lot of players dont like firecrackers and they dislike firecrackers with an attitude even more. He needs to mellow and play rugby, upto the westwood incident I thought Sam had a very below par game for his standards however after that and moving to stand off he started to create things and looked much better and coincidentally stopped with the attitude. Sam play rugby leave the handbags to the forwards!
P.S IIRC Doesnt Sam and Westood have history of disliking each other? Oh and good show Warrington takes a lot to make Wigan look tired nowadays!
