knew it would be below 10k, couldn't understand being a sunday with 10,000 free tickets but I suppose 8,000 is a good turnout.

2nd highest in round, leeds v cru cru crusaders got over 10,000, hull fc got 6 1/2... saints got just over 3,000 and the gatehead v harlequins match got 402!!!

I paid £30 to attend today and love the Cup.

I was working. I can see why some people didn't go, even if you look at the F.A cup etc. attendances always drop? I don't see the point in starting an article on it really, it's not like it's a massive problem!
It's good to have an end to journey towards, but it's the journey that matters in the end.

I went and thought it was worthwhile, not only the skill Sam showed especially his second also down to the fact that live very close to Barrow and know alot of players well, just a pity some of those that slate people leaving early did not even go but decided to watch aload of w***ers running around after a round ball. Shame on you :lol1: :sly: :sly:

I thought the crowd was poor considering it was a freebie. Saying that they must have expected it as they sold out of programmes.

Thought the Lima sending off though justified in the rules was a bit soft, otherwise ref had a good game. It was also good to see the touch judge on the East stand side call a few forward passes.

The team also tried out a few set plays which I haven't seen the use before with varying success. The inside balls from Deacon to Sam worked very well.

Looking forward to beating the Bulls in the next round!
