I agree with the rat,and I suggest a rule change,because tackling is ruinig our great game,I suggest wigan should only be allowed to tackle teams twice every set,and should not be allowed to tackle the w***ys at all,thus providing a level playing field in super league

Totally agree Cockney. Also think that each of our centres should play with their outside leg tied to his wingers inside leg. And Sam should play with his right hand down the front of his shorts with a sin binning if he takes it out. Its disgraceful the amount of games we are getting away with winning these days. Something needs to be done!

What annoys me most is the fact that all Coley did was tackle the legs. I've played enough Rugby of both codes to know that from a very early age, you're coached to hit the legs with a shoulder. That's all Coley did. The injury was very unfortunate, I don't think anyone would would disagree but he tackled the legs like in a million other tackles. But somehow, we are being victimised by Smith as if we are doing something wholly illegal. I would really like to sit down with him and show him a replay of Warrington's season whereby there are well over a thousand examples of his players tackling legs. Except that when we do it, it's illegal.

I agree Dicconson this is going to go on until the Rfl get involved I think.
The media have made more of one incident than what happened in the rest of a fantastic match.I don't know why they insist on harping on about single incidents.If they get a bee-in-their-bonnets about something it's over with.

Let's be honest here. Smith has to come up with something to deflect from the fact that his team who play "proper" rugby were walloped by the "defensive" team that is supposedly Wigan. Less than a week after he had come out and said how superior his side were/are

The real disgrace in my eyes is that supposedly knowledgable pundits like Robbie "Hunter" Paul swallow the guff about Wigan not having any "entertainment" value in the first place.

If we're "defensive" it doesn't say much for the other 12 teams in the league with less points scored than us.
