The RFL are a joke! We got 24,000 for a league game!!!! The sooner the muppets that are currently in charge are dismissed and a fresh rugby league orientated group of individuals take over the better!!!!

My Sources tell me that Saints have the West stand and west sides of the North and South stands.

Looks like we have the seated East stand :( Ill be making a bee line for standing under the score board i think. Missus wants to join me and my group for the match, all good and well but she is a saints fan for all her sins ha ha

Do the idiots at Red Hall not factor in things like 10,000 season ticket holders, extra interest generated by a semi final, not to mention the small matter of a Wigan-v-Saints derby?

£28????? only paid £3 more than that for the grand final, at least Dick Turpin had the common decency to wear a mask!

What makes it even worse is a seat you will pay £22 for this week, was being sold for £16 last week!

I'm a Wigan Warriors fan, and am Wigan till I die, but it's not a bottomless pit. Looks like i'll have to put up with the BBCs shocking camera angles again.

In my opinion the RFL have lost the plot 1st game of the season for all clubs just after christmas when money is tight, Cardiff a stadium that will never be filled for this so called weekend of selling Rugby league. Then when the chance comes to take a really big game on the road to sell Rugby league IE take it to Bolton or Blackburn both with large grounds and a chance to pull in some extra supporters into our great game the RFL trully balls up. Its not just that I fear there could be trouble caused by wire fans like the last time we played Catalans in a semi at that ground. Blackburn Ewood park would have been my choice 30,000, plus I live in Accrington so not to far to travel for me.

Semi Final Tickets

Post by mickh »

The Halliwell Jones Stadium is simply not good enough to accomodate the fans of both sides. Not queued up for a while for any tickets but from 8-30am a three and threequarter wait is taking the biscuit, three of the windows were not being used, staff slow, asking what people's addresses were etc. Plus my son is 17 I asked for a concession ticket, the RL doesn't recognise that age, 16 to 18 year olds are not included for concession. £28 tickets gone before 12 mid-day
Probably should have used the telephone line available but doesn't that usually crash.
Good banter in the crowd, 1 gentleman collapsed, he seemed ok when he was sat on a chair though. People queueing half way up the West though may not get their ticket tonight by 5pm if the set up doesn't speed up.
We've got ours though, rather pay than listen to Mr (when I were playing) French and his associates. Lets keep smiling eh! We're gonna win! We're gonna win! Rant over
