Should this not be moved to the rumour mill?

Best off luck Amos, I for one hope he make a full recovery before the start of next season!

He's not training with the first team.

If Amos has a posterior lateral corner or PCL injury caused by hyperextension of the knee (like Amos wrapping his knee round the post in the way he did) then it's about the worst injury a knee can sustain.

1) the PCL is a very slow healing ligament or if it's the PLCorner it's a bunch of ligaments with poor blood supply 2) surgery to fix it properly would probably end his career as it's an allograft with about a 70% success rate. An ACL injury is comparatively a piece of cake to fix.

Just got to hope that Amos gets back to any rugby field, let alone the DW and good luck to him.

Amos was in the SSB pre match with Hampo, when asked about his injury, said he was having another operation next week and would be back playing next season, Hanpo concured with him

Is his future at Wigan solely based on his performances or is there something else in the backround a more detrimental factor ?

From what I know PM, Amos kept telling the coaching / medical staff something was not right but they kept insisting he was fine and tagged him lazy etc.

The player seems to have been right

Personally he is very happy, getting married in October etc.

That being the case CP, surely he must show the doubters wrong by putting in the good performances and giving WWRLFC no option but to select him.

We know he can play PM when fully fit BUT like many aboriginee players they are confidence players and respond to TLC rather than being hard on them. On that basis and the way Amos has/is been treated it does not bode well. His wife and children are I believe returning to Australia after the marriage.

Some of the comments on RLFans are a disgrace. Even Bilko made a very poor post :(
