Mike Maguire

Thanks for the last two years Mike. Fantastic effort, enjoyed the success you've brought back to the club and good luck in aus.

Hope you enjoyed the send off from the fans that stayed behind and I was the one in the box cheering you after the match had finshed half an hour ago!

Even in defeat the Wigan fans sing their hearts out for the boys.
Last nights atmosphere for the players was superb.

Leave it to your successor to blood the youngsters who should be taking us into 2012.
And good luck at the Bunnies!

I agree with him Winky. Delighted to have had Madge as our coach and for the first year he was brilliant - don't think he has given it his all this year as his mind has been elsewhere. Pleased to have had him as coach for all that, just wish he had finished the job.
Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.

I think someone posted at the time that they should have
let him go straight away, but I thought that wasn't the
right thing to do......looks like I was wrong :eusa18: :eusa18:

A fantastic job who made far far more good decisions than bad. Like anybody he made some mistakes BUT he did put the club on a huge upward curve.

Not at all - as you have said somewhere else the benefit of hindsight is a wonderful thing and he will still have done good things for the team and the club in general in the last few months I just happen to believe he hasn't given it his all in the same way he did last year and his imminent departure seems to have hung over us all season like the sword of Damocles as a result.

Our fans support was outstanding even in defeat, well done to us all :) :eusa2: :eusa2:
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
