I don't blame Wigan for giving him a go but perhaps it was obvious rugby league wasn't his thing last season.

I don't blame them for giving him a go when he came back from union. When he left league in the first place to go to RU it looked like RL had almost a star in the making. So worth a shout initially

However I do blame Wigan for persisting with him to the extent they did when it became patently obvious he was very poor. He was given more chances than Ainscough for example and didn't earn them. And to cap it all we even took out an option to extend his contract at the end of last season so he remained on our books for 2011!! Why on earth did we do that?
