good point rob! i always think it makes more sense to have the captain in the centre of the pack or around the pack, not out on the edges like wingers or centres

I've read the match report but it doesn't say much. Apart from the knock on right at the tryline how did Vaealiki go? Glad to hear he didn't reinjure the ankle.

Vaealiki's Girl, the less said about the knock on the better but I think he had a reasonable run out given it was his first game in best part of a year.

He seemed to want to be involved and was looking to get involved whenever the ball went his way.

It'll be interesting to see how he goes with Dallas or Carney outside of him as well.

Ahhh i see. I won't mention it again :eusa14:

The injury doesn't seem to have affected his confidence then?

I'm pretty sure Vaealiki played against Dallas when he first made the top grade so he probably knows a little about his game (providing it hasn't changed much) so that could be a good thing.

I think Wigan have made some brilliant signings this season. (even though Davico has been unlucky) I think once the team gets back in to regular rugby matches, especially at the JJB, Wigan will play brilliantly!

It didn't seem that he was holding back becasue of his injury problems and if anything it seemed to me he wanted to get involved to test himself.

As for Dallas' game its either come inside and run fast or go for the outside and run fast!!
