Adrian Shelford i dont think he played for saints,didnt wigan get him because saints lost a court case with wigan and they owed wigan some money,i could be wrong and i could be right.

I used to work with Gary Connolly's uncle and he told me that all his family were massive Saints fans and were made up that he played for them.

At one family get together Gary walked in and told them all the was leaving Saints, but when they asked where he was going and he said Wigan they thought he was having them on.

As the penny dropped, he had to make a sharp exit. Loved to have seen that announcment.

what about the great jim sullivan, not as a player , but the most important signing saints ever made. He changed their history.
