Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Put out 33 flyers onto lampposts in the area. There is a reward for his safe return, but can't see him coming home now. If he was close he'd be home in a shot, he's a 'mums boy'.
I took him in at six months old after he'd been involved in a RTA, he had two broken hips & a broken pelvis & I nursed him back to health
We are devastated. My other cat is fretting for him really bad.
Oh Josie I'm so sorry, what a mess after the trouble you had last year,I can't believe it. :eusa10: I'm praying he turns up....where do you live? lol

Re: Josie
Had a phone call from the vets yesterday, that a ginger & white cat was in a ladies garden in Winstanley. They passed on her contact details to me. We exchanged emails to which I sent her a couple of pictures of George & she sent me a couple of pictures of the cat she had in her house. Totally different cat, it was white with some ginger patches.Kiwiseddon wrote:Any news on George, Josie?
She eventually took the cat to the vets, she doesn't drive, luckily it was chipped & they managed to trace the owner & it was returned to them.
So, unfortunately, George is still missing

Thank you for your concern Paul x

Re: Josie
Sadly, George was run over on the Friday morning he went missing.
A man & his wife saw him in the middle of the road & cars were driving round him. They moved to the side & when they came back soon after his body had gone.
Stephen is getting in touch with council today to see if he was taken by them.
Thank you all for you concern & kind words of support x

I feel for you Josie …… we love our cat and he is treated like a child at times. I hate the way people can just drive around a cat in the road like that. I am a tough lad but if one thing brings a close tear to my eye its this kind of thing. Hope you can get closure on this, he looks like my cat Tigger too
we don't stop playing because we grow old ....... we grow old because we stop playing
