Cant they pick on some other club why does it always have to be us !!!

You may be able to tell that iam taking this to heart ! I would be gutted if one of them 2 went never mind both! I dont think the lads would leave but you never know!
Last time Radlinski had an offer like this his dad came out with the statement "All my boy has ever wanted to do is player rugby LEAGUE for WIGAN !! And that is what he is going to do for now and for the seeable furture ."
And i think fazzer is pretty settled too. I think they both would want to finish thier carrer at a club they have grew up with, watched , supported and played with for most of thier lives. Or i could just be saying this to make myself feel better.

Remember also that they are Wigans two biggest earners and its probably stopping us making some other quality name signings.
We can't make any more quality signings because of the 20-20 rule. Losing Faz and Rads would free up 2 spots, no more. The size of the salaries for potential recruits is not an issue for the club as I understand it.

I agree also in Faz's case a back rower in Union is a specialised roll hes nw to old to learn the skills needed in time for 2007. Hardesr part will be falling in the tackle in Union as tendancy in league is to fall and turn backwards in league its the opposite. if on or both go it will leave a gap but that will be filled as the money left for the salary cap would be sizeable. and guess whos available next year. Sonny Bill.
Is Lindsay up to his tricks again.

Kris might have turned it a few years ago but like some have already mentioned hes not getting any younger and financially it will benefit him.....i think he may well go...look at Robinson there was all the uproar when he left but we still love him, however i agree that Faz wont go because without a doubt he will have a coaching place though im not sure Rads will especially if hes in Faz shadow. Would be a great loss to league but perhaps and oppertunity for the young guns to show there spirit aswell. Anyways nothings offical yet so lets get on with winning CC and superleague X

See on the BBC web that there is an imminent anouncement from the RFU that FAZ is going!
Very surprised if he does at his age :conf:

I think his age makes it more likely he will go (sadly)!:conf:

faz cant leave...........he gets homesick going to blackpool........
This is the sort of thing that really chavs me off though, when everyone is up the backside of union and then union come in and offer our best players loads of money which when players get to faz's age would set them up for life, i think faz would be a great success in union but i dont want him to go, i have never been a great faz fan but i will be the first to admit if he goes somebody is going to have some big shoes to fill!
Wigan are going to have to do something huge to keep hold of him, he'll be 29/30 at the end of this season and i think we could get 3 or 4 more seasons from him, but in the next few days we'll know what he decides. the thing is, if he never wanted to leave wigan to play for another club in super league, will he leave wigan for more money? I dont think anyone will turn against him and say hes let wigan down by setting himself up money-wise for life ( but will he really want to go without kicking the aussies ass's in the tri nations) he'll be a great loss to the game and i think o'loughlin (his most probable successor) will have gained a lot of responsibility sooner than he imagined.
Lets hope if we lose faz we keep rads though, otherwise we have lost two great players and in 2006 will be left with some huge gaps to fill.

Heard yesterday that he had "No comment" to make. Doesn't look promising at all, if he was dead against it he would have said so. I know you've all given reasons to why he would go but I'd be extremely disappointed in him if he does, yes he's been playing for us for what seems like a life time but how can you say Wigan through and through if he buggers off to union. Suppose if he's going we'll have to get used to the idea. The only time I've been absolutely gutted about a player leaving is when Henry Paul left, if Faz goes I'll be just as upset as I was then
