i think that singing and chanting creates a great atmosphere the club should hand out sheets in the stands

Hi all just to let kt Deliah was originally done by Tom Jones he sang something with Robbie Williams a couple of years ago hope you know him. I like take me home Wigan Roads but no-one sings it I would quite happily sing this until the cows came home.
Even the old favourites seem to have gone, I can remember the old RED ARMY chant ringing around Central Park.
Can I just say that the Plastic's mock our songs and have the cheek to sing You've Got The Worst Supporters In The Land. We must stop this and when they roll up in town be as loud as we can be.

Special K you know what I mean. The Cop etc and the days when we were happy being the riversiders. The Glory days when our club song was Tina Turners Simply The Best, followed by We Are The Champions.

I have been doing some thinking about this subject and feel that if its going to work we need to get all the fans singing from the same song sheet(excuse the pun). The fact of the matter is we need a large contingent of the fans to get behind this to make it work..
Firstly we need to approach the club and explain what we are about and what we need to do to get everyone behind it (Wiganers have just as loud a voices as though stains and leeds lot, all were lacking is the execution and songs).
This is a simple plan of what we can do:-
We approach the club and make then aware of what we are trying to achieve and say we would like to set up information retreval points around the ground on matchdays. The aim of this is to collect peoples email addresses and find out whether they are willing to join the singing warriors. This will have two effects, 1) we can quickly explain the need for them to be more vocal and hopefully they will be more willing to join in!!
secondly we will send them a weekly email telling them firstly about the up and coming match and a list of the songs which are going to be sung at the next game (although most songs will be sang week in week out, we can also come up with songs that are relevant to the particularly team etc... They can send us songs they come up with and we can choose the best and put them in the song sheet!! The emails will also promote a loyal singing group that will ensure that singing happens in all games. With a bit of organisation and promotion we can have the best singing barmy army in the land. there more ideas i have come up with but have you lot any????????
