Whether they were sent or not, bans will follow. Fighting is the easiest incident for the RFL to dish out a ban. Gaz may suffer due to previous incidents.

The Tuson red card was more punishment than neccessary he had to defend himself.

Hock will get at leatst 2 games. MM high tackle was no worse than any of the other high tackles in the game so unless the RFL set about banning the majority of players he should be ok. Having said that we play Leeds next week so it wouldn't suprise me to see most of the team banned for at least 1 game.

I think given some players were sent off that ought to be taken into account in any subsequent punishment. I fear it won't be though.

While fighting is easy for the RFL to punish its quite rare that the players were sent off and quite often it is due to some incident having been just put on report.

My expectations are this:

Tuson - 2 or 3 game ban due to being a bit OTT in retaliation
Hock - 2 match ban
Mossop - 2 match ban for getting involved without any real reason

What I'd be happy with and think would be right is:

Tuson - 1 match ban given he was sent off despite the slightly OTT response.
Hock - sending off sufficient.
Mossop - 1 match ban due to good record.

Having watched it again I just don't see how Mossop can escape a ban.

As to Hock it probably wasn't even a sending off and the club should give Tuson a medal given the way he was attacked.

No one is going to push Tuson around after that and so while players getting sent off and getting banned is normally not a good thing to happen I don't give a stuff about that as far as Tuson is concerned. If the RFL had any sense of natural justice as opposed to political correctness they would let him off with sending off sufficient.

Can someone please tell me the difference between MM's tackle and the one that Sinfield made on Makinson last Friday? End result a penalty and carry on.

The way the fight was dealt with in the State of Origin game was correct.

Two blokes who had the punch-up just given a talking-to, and the "third-man in" who came in a cheap shot from the back was sin-binned.

Sorry, but if you watch the scrum very closely, it started with LMS!

Hock firstly put his hand on LMS's head to move him to the other side of his own head so he could get down in the scrum. LMS was the first to push/slap/headbutt Hock who naturally retaliated.

And you ought to be ashamed of yourself, the guy served his sentence for his foolhardy mistake, get over it. He hasn't even given a penalty away all season up to this game!!

the video proves it, the guy is super short on brain cells, he fell for it yet again and has potential cost us the game against Leeds, fair enough he has been going great guns this season, but when he gets it wrong he gets it wrong big time, maybe a 4 game ban will sort his head out, as for Tuson he should be given warning and nothing more, the shot from G.I Joe was a cowardly act and not in the spirit of the game :exc:
