I dont really see why it is. I would expect Sam to say that and I am glad that a RL player thinks that way, if the players dont take the international game seriously then how is anyone else supposed to?

At the end of the day the papers will print whatever they want Sam to say - not what he means to say - it doesn't sell papers if it isn't controversial!!!! It's right that if his next match is an England one then it should be his priority. Swings and roundabouts - next match will be priority Wigan! He obviously has passion for what he does and that's all you can ask for in a player! (And a few hundred decent try's obviously.......)

Just saying the obvious really. He will give serious consideration to a move to the NRL. If we are going to lose him, then I'd rather he go down under, at least that way we keep him for the national side.

Should he be 'Gobbing off' about his future potential move? Whilst is mind is on that subject it is not on WW's.

I wouldn't really class it as 'gobbling off' more a case of stating the obvious, I think we can all agree that Sams mind will well and truly be on the job in hand, irrelevant of what he says to the media.

Who could blame Sam for wanting to test how he would fair against the best in the world.
At least he would be tested there instead of being bored to tears playing Yawnion.

Just been looking on the NBC website and again there is a colour there by Sam saying that he is considering a move to NRL in 2014, I can't help but think that we seriously need to start looking to bring in some top talent because at the end of this season we are losing Tommy, Finch, Lima, carmont, now rumours of Sam leaving. I can't help but think that if we carry on to let all of our best payers go we we going to turn into and table side again, (and who wants tat after two seasons of sheer awesomeness??) I apologise if this is in the wrong section or irrelevant, but is 9am I'm hungover and I've got a 10 hour shft to look forward to and needed a rant. So my apologies

You know, I don't care what he says about 2 years time as long as he plays to his best for us while he is here, it is inevitable he will leave sometime. At least he is looking to stay in league.
Besides, you know a lot can happen in 2 years.
