alan look back at your fixture thread, two posters incl mike and because they were negative you disagreed and became so much like tlhe posters you decry. therein imo lies the irony of threads like this and holier than thou posters.

wes called this thread right. look at the title. what utter balls.

you are all fans you all have the right to express opinions. now if that is negative or positive so be it. anybody see the irony of people complaining about other posters whilst trying in the ultimate dictatorial approach insist how they post and what they type. jim pulls this stunt every so often. a few join in.

internet forums are dynamic. posters come and go. quality posters emerge all the time. try posting and creating threads. every internet forum is more or less identical. enjoy for what they are. nothing more.

ps develop a skin thicker than tissue paper. mine is incredibly thick. i never care one jot about the net re what people think about you etc

Mike said on my thread that we had winning the Challenge Cup and the Grand Final to look forward to, so how is that a negative comment and why would I disagree with that.. I think you need to read posts properly before reacting. As for having a thick skin, most things don't worry me that much, I just don't like people misinterpreting what I have said and the spirit in which I have said things. I just don't go around whining about things all the time and I treat most things as a bit of fun.

If you or others take themselves that seriously I can't do anything about that, but hey it's your life it certainly won't affect mine or the enjoyment I get from watching a game with friends.

Well it is pointless. Somebody complaining that there isn't enough talk. It's off season what are we meant to talk about? Plus during the season older posters come and go, new always come. I don't post often nowadays as I have other things to do but I'm still active weekly. This thread is like Jeremy Paxman having a go at Lord Patten on BBC1. It's like the threads about 'oh not a new away shirt I cant afford it!" - dont buy it then. It's simple. Post, or don't post.

Spot on, I read every day and have done for many years, I post when I want to. I have better things to do than be a keyboard warrior and argue crap with others. You could say I use this site selfishly as I don't contribute much ..... But who cares, not me or anyone else with half a brain, that's for sure.

I think the site is great, fair enough quiet in the off season but what is there to discuss, no new signings apart form what already covered, lets hope after tomorrow when the friendlies start more will start posting
