Jason Robinson:
Date of birth 30 July 1974 (age 38)
Place of birth Leeds, Yorkshire, England
Height 5 ft 8 in (1.73 m)
Weight 12 st 11 lb (81 kg)

Size has nothing to do with quality or effort (just ask my missus  )
Size doesn't always matter but these two guys are poles apart in terms of ability.
I'm not saying Dixon is the new Robinson, but there are some similarities.

He is a very raw talent having only got promoted to the first team in 2012. Obviously other clubs think he has potential http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sp ... clubs.html
Leeds, Warrington and St Helens are tracking the London winger, who has rocketed to the top of the try-scoring charts.

Hull and Salford are also keeping tabs on Dixon, 20, after he touched down 14 times this season.

The Rhinos are understood to have had a scout present as he ran in a second successive hat-trick in the Broncos’ 40-26 defeat by Bradford on Saturday.

While Dixon recently signed a one-year contract extension that ties him to the Broncos until the end of next season, a decent offer is sure to secure his signature.

London coach Tony Rea has described Dixon, who comes from Hemel Hempstead, as “wonderfully talented”.

How far off are Manfredi and Burgess? Will either be ready to step in as first choice winger next season to replace Pat or do we need a stop gap.

Good question. Given that both are plying their trade in the U19s I would suggest the signing of a stop-gap unless we farm them out to Leigh etc.

The u19s line-up was interesting yesterday: Rocky at FB, Manfredi on the wing and Burgess at centre. Does that suggest that Hampshire and Manfredi are being lined up to replace Sam and Pat?

I think in the grand scheme of things they are expected to fill those positions eventually, but we'll need someone else next year I reckon. I don't think Dixon is the right choice - I've said it before and I'll they it again, I think the best young winger in Super League we could go after is Tom Lineham, if we choose to go that way. Honestly though, I think almost anyone with any ability at all could go well on our left wing with the way we play, so we could put a lot of blokes in there until on of our kids is ready to step up.

That's why I'm hoping Sam will see out his 3rd year. Don't know what the truth is about Lomax but from what I've seen of them both, I think Hampshire is a far better prospect. Good as Lomax is, we don't need him!

But Hampshire is just a prospect right now, and Lomax is a Super League player. If there was any truth in it the it would be good for us and bad for Saints, so double good for us! I like the look of Sneyd and Hanbury as potential Sam replacements too.

That's why I'd like another year from Sam. It would give Hampshire the chance to step up from prospect to squad member. If Lomax came, he would block the progression which has served us well for quite some time now!

It would be good to see Ryan Hampshire and Dom Manfredi/Joe Burgess get some superleague game time this season so we can see where they are at and if they could cope as first choice next season especially if Sam goes.
Next season's team could look like this
1. R Hampshire (Goal Kicker)
2. J Charnley
3. D Goulding
4. I Thornley
5. D Manfredi/J Burgess
6. B Green
7. M Smith (Goal Kicker)
8. G Dudson
9. M McIlorum
10.B Flower
11.C Tuson
12.L Farrell
13.S O'Loughlin

14.D Crosby
15.S Taylor
16.J Hughes
17.L Tomkins

18.Warriors Fans
19.A Gelling
20.S Powell
21.R LLoyd
22.G Burke
23.T Spencer
24.L Carberry
25.G Williams
26.J Burgess/D Manfredi

and that still leaves E Lauaki, J Murphy (if he comes back), J Greenwood, L Tierney and R Lever

on what we've seen so far this season I don't think that squad would be far off the top of the league at the end of next season. If we can hold on to most of these IMO the future looks good.

oops I've missed out P Prescott :with:

His loan spell is over at Salford, played on dual reg at South Wales today. Kicks goals too, including the game winning points.
