Correct he has been brought up properly, not big headed, respectful, polite and from a good family. Would find this rumour very hard to believe.Kittwazzer wrote:Sorry but I don't believe any of that. That said, I do think there is more to it than the club are admitting. I don't really remember him going off injured and there was certainly never any statement indicating he would be out for anything like the time he has been.slimshady wrote:Correct he has been brought up properly, not big headed, respectful, polite and from a good family. Maybe its true about a dressing room fall out and its not easy to resolve?
Re: Johhny Lomax
Anythings possible but just cant see the problem being Lomax. Think the scousers have a situation at that dump which is something they will struggle to sort out. Too many average players, overrated players and players who think they are better than they are. Financially they are struggling after building their Anderson shelter of a stadium. Also they dont have many players like we do that are home grown local lads who love the club and its history. They are basically to put it bluntly, Shite and long may the situation continue.Kittwazzer wrote:That said, I do think there is more to it than the club are admitting. Re: Johhny Lomax
A question to those who say they would like Lomax at Wigan:
He plays in the halves, we currently have Green and Smith as our first choice halves, with Williams and Hampshire due to take over those roles in the coming years, they are fantastic prospects, particularly Hampshire.
Where would you fit Lomax in? I think he is quality. Who would you sacrifice? Or would you play him or another player else where?
I'm personally a big fan of Smith, and would like to see him stick around for a few years.
Just a note on the Stains situation, it wouldn't surprise me if N.Brown was to be relieved of his duties very shortly, as a media diversion to the troubles the club are having internally, that, coupled with some pleasantly shocking results

Pretty much my view as well. If Lomax were to come, he would be here for the long term and could be a blockage in our production line.
I still have bad memories of 2006 when I could have picked a team of ex Wigan players from other clubs who could have hammered our then sorry bunch!

Lomax a replacement for Sam maybe?
There's no doubt about his quality.
The question is, do we get Lomax on board and risk the development of other home grown talents???
It would be a tough one, if this rumour was anywhere near been true
