Re: Manchester Magic
I think if Leeds start the game strong we're in for a bumpy rise. Against Hull KR in the Cup, KR started lightningly quick and nulled what Wigan do best: blow away the opposition early. Leeds are better opposition to Hull KR so IMO it seems like their only tactic to get at least within a score going into the final quarter. They have the players to do it.

Don't much see the point of these RoboRefs. I do like the overhead camera that's flying around the pitch. I think it would be better if the Magic weekend was held at maybe the Reebok stadium, at least we would see a capacity or near capacity ground. I can't help but think that if we're promoting the game in all its splendour it doesn't look good when the stadium isn't even half full for most of the time.

Many going from on here today?
Re: Manchester Magic
I'm going today. I hope us and Leeds take a few to make a bigger crowd than yesterday, although when it was at its fullest for the hull derby the atmosphere sounded pretty good yesterday.cumbria_warrior wrote:Many going from on here today?

And then they all left leaving the final game to be played to an empty stadium. Yet there is a lengthy thread on RedVee complaining about fans who wanted to stand blocking the view of those who didn't!markill wrote:I'm going today. The RFL should do the same as the rahrahs and have a couple of groups on after the final game. That's how they get 80k at twickers.Kittwazzer wrote:And then they all left leaving the final game to be played to an empty stadium. Re: Manchester Magic
On my way back from the game, a really good hard fought win I thought, it was a tense affair, but I think these games are much better to watch than being 40 points in front at half time games, although they are easier on the heart. Anyway well done to the boys :thum:
