If he does leave Wigan he will well and truly have burned his bridges in this town. Many were prepared to welcome him and move on from the past. He will have screwed that if he leaves.

I agree with those remarks cp, I, for one, was prepared to let bygones be bygones
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

If he does leave and move back to Stains, is that our club being very naive in the first place by employing him?

I really hope that is true. All the Saints fans on RedVee are high sixing each other at the prospect of his return!
Why? What has he done of note as a coach to make him so sought after? I never really understood why we went for him in the first place. Good scrum half but with a dubious attitude and character.

That said over on rlfans the suggestion is the rumour started by a joke twitter post from a spoof account that pretends to be Koukash.

So maybe nothing in any of it.

Only hope it is true!

Having Long within our club is like having a wrong piece in a jigsaw puzzle.

If you're referring to the spoof Twitter account, that is one of the most pathetic attempts at parody I have ever seen.

Checked Long's tweets and he's apparently going to be helping with the Tongan team during the World Cup!
