i think the two lads should be given an extra week rest.

Let melling stay at 6 and play either orr or brown at 7 if they are to play.

That will allow wagga to play his usual impact role.

Haven are a team that will play hard against big opposition, they tend to raise their game like we do.

They don't look as good this season as they did last though, they lack some direction with the loss of Obst to Wakefield. Joel Penny (his replacement) isn't bad but he's NL1 standard IMO. They have a few good forwards, much bigger pack that us (David Fatialofa, Neil Baines, Paul Davidson) I'd guess and a skillful loose forward in Walsh.

Craig Calvert is extremely fast on the right (I think) wing (came second to Albert in the 100 m race at Robin Park), although he's not much meat on him, Brett should have him covered.

Also their big centre Nanyn is back. He'll be a major boost for them, decent kicker too but sometimes loses his cool.

I reckon they'll play a good game for 60 minutes, similar to how they played against Warrington last season in the cup, but even in NL1 they look tired after an hour and mistakes creep in. I think the fitness levels will be our major advantage.

I'd prefer Coyle to Melling. We looked a lot better when he came on at Hull.

Good job the Cup has been shoved back in the year then. Our fitness is there OK now but we were well underdone at the start of the season.

I just hope we come through with a comfortable win and no injuries - are they likely to rough us up?

Spot on there GeoffN because coyle is actually a scrum half and melling i think is a natural winger.

He's a natural centre, betts says the only addition to his squad is brown so i think coyle or melling will go

Melling's natural position is fullback, really, although he has played both centre and wing for the U21 side. I've always seen him as the backup and long-term successor for Rads, although I know 'Liki can play FB too.
Coyle can play either 6 or 7, though I think he mostly plays at 6 for the Academy.

Depends. I've seen them get frustrated and start getting rough, especially when they got beat at Workingon a few weeks back. It'll be their biggest game this season so they'll be out to prove a point I think. Short answer... perhaps!
